“Yelq” bloc leader, the sole candidate for the PM’s position, Nikol Pashinyan is sure, constitutional mechanisms for holding extraordinary parliamentary elections are in place. He said: “We will use them.”
Let us remind you that the vice president of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, MP from the Republican Party of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov had announced that if Nikol Pashinyan is elected as the PM and if the government plan he suggests is verified by the Parliament, no extraordinary parliamentary elections are going to take place.
Asked if they will go for extraordinary elections, Nikol Pashinyan replied: “I think this situation will not be considered ultimately solved if extraordinary elections do not take place.”
