Minutes ago gunshots were heard in Gyulbenkyan Street. As stated by the witnesses, an attempt of robbing HSBC Bank located at Gyulbenkyan-Komitas crossroad was made.
The suspect has entered the bank armed with grenade and other weapons. In the bank he has injured the security guards and escaped shooting irregularly into the air by swearing on the former authorities.
The police arrived shortly after and caught him with the help of civilians.
The police have officially confirmed: there are 2 victims, one of whom a police officer and the other either a customer or a bank assistant inside the bank, and 1 injured.
At that time a lot of people were in the street, including children coming back from school. One of them, a 14-years old boy, whose mother was telling all of the above mentioned, was noticeably afraid. The employees of the bank, the nearby shops and drug store were also shocked.
