President of European People’s Party (EPP) Joseph Daul met with Republican Armen Ashotyan and posted about it on his Facebook page.
“Today I met Armen Ashotyan, Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, who gave me his insight on the current situation and recent developments in his country. We also discussed the relations between his party and EPP, as well as between Armenia and the EU, particularly in the framework of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership agreement.
Later, I welcomed the Moroccan Ambassador to the EU, Ahmed Reda Chami, to speak about the relation between his country and the EU. We agreed on the importance to come to a balanced agreement concerning agricultural products in the framework of the EU-Morocco Association Agreement.
Finally, I had a pleasant exchange with French MP and Treasurer of Les Républicains Daniel Fasquelle on the future of Europe, the challenges the EU is facing and the situation in France.”
