The list of the persons, who are considered to be political prisoners by the Armenian representation of the EU, has been handed to the leadership of the Ministry of Justice during the visit of Dirk Schuebel, Head of the Eastern Partnership Department of the EU External Action Service and Piotr Switalski, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, to the Ministry.
The list includes the names of Shant Harutyunyan, Zhirayr Sefilyan, Karo Yeghnukyan and Gevorg Safaryan. Only one name from “Sasna Tsrer” who had seized the regiment was included in the list. This means that the EU continues to consider “Sasna Tsrer” as a terrorist group.
