The whole number of the governors will be replaced, informed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during the interview after the inauguration ceremony of the Government members at the Presidential Residence.
Pashinyan said: “As regards other bodies, there are some legislative issues. We will try to view those issues within legal context.”
Asked if it is possible to replace the president of the Central Electoral Committee of Armenia by other person, Pashinyan replied, that the CEC is an independent body, which should be taken into consideration: “However, I believe that issues are present in the symbolic sense, and we should solve this alike.”
