Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Ashotyan reminded that the European Union-Armenia agreement will enter into force on June 1.
He suggested Nikol Pashinyan include the main provisions of the EU-Armenia agreement in the upcoming program of the government so that the government’s program matches the EU commitments undertaken by the Republic of Armenia.
He noted that the EU-Armenia relations have both political as well as economic importance: “I think this can be a good solution for all of us. This government views itself as a government of reformers, and in this respect, I believe that such partnership with the EU could be useful”.
