During the interview in Dilijan, the newly elected Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan did not comment on the question if according to him the chain of corruption disclosures by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia were conducted with the consent and oblivion of the previous authorities or not.
“I will not comment on it, inasmuch as it can be viewed as an attempt to influence the preliminary investigation. The preliminary investigation will give answers to those questions. I think no one will doubt that all necessary conditions are created for the preliminary investigation,” noticed Nikol Pashinyan.
Let us remind you that in days, the National Security Service of Armenia has uncovered a chain of corruption hiding the taxes.
The journalists asked if, for example, the former PM, Serzh Sargsyan’s interrogation is necessary. Pashinyan answered that the interrogation of the person is stipulated by law and it is not under the will of anyone. “I do not decide who will be interrogated and who not. There are rules of procedure stipulated by law for that,” concluded the PM.
