World-famous singer Elton John and the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sargsyan have discussed “geopolitical” issues in Yerevan.
After a supper at “The Corner” Italian restaurant, the President told some information to the journalists. “We were discussing that Armenia has wonderful food and when we are going to return Ararat back to us,” said Sargsyan, smiling.
Asked which the singer’s aim of arrival is, Sargsyan replied: “Elton is my dear friend, and Vatche Manoukian’s (British-Armenian businessman and benefactor), Raffi Manukyan’s (former Glendale Mayor) friend. He has come here to do charity programs for children.”
