Member of “Alternative Programs”, Vahe Hovhannisyan is assured that at the moment there are only two people who can have a guarantee that they have seats in the upcoming National Assembly of Armenia.
During the discussion on “Post-Revolutionary Armenia’s Inner Political Agenda” topic, Mr. Hovhannisyan said: “Those two persons are Nikol Pashinyan and Gagik Tsarukyan. Political forces, as such, do not exist. It is even not known with which coalition and forces Nikol Pashinyan will be nominated, he has an individually high ranking and he will be nominated. The same refers to Gagik Tsarukyan. Other political forces should vanish from illusions at once, that they will have seats in the upcoming Parliament. Because they demand – let us do it fast, a day sooner, in September. They are going to have a zero percent of votes. And it is the result of today’s political default. For this reason, the next Parliament will not be better than the current one by anything if new forces and coalitions are not formed before passing to technical sides – Electoral Code, fingerprints, observers. The problems it created are going to be far worse three or four months later than they are now. We can have a dictatorship literally.”
