Today, during the court hearing on the case of a part of “Sasna Tsrer” group members in a process on the initiative of judge Artush Gabrielyan, the advocate of defendant Manvel Atoyan (on the photograph), Ara Gharagyozyan, submitted to the court a mediation to stop the preventative detention on bail.
Returning from the consultation room, judge Artush Gabrielyan decided to satisfy the advocate’s mediation and release Atoyan from detention on 1 million AMD bail. And it means, when the mentioned sum is transferred to the deposit account of the court, Atoyan will be released from detention.
Let us remind you that Manvel Atoyan is not a member of “Sasna Tsrer” group accused of occupying police patrol regiment building. Atoyan does not recognize himself guilty.
Let us also remind you that before “My Step” movement, suchlike mediations were submitted, but rejected by the court. Before Atoyan, Khachatur Gritchyan, and earlier – Garo Yegnukian were released from detention today.
