The owner of “Shirak” football club, entrepreneur Arman Sahakyan, who was elected as the Member of Parliament from Shirak Province via the ranking system of the republican Party of Armenia, has published on his Facebook page on leaving the Republican Faction of the Parliament.
The MP writes: “I inform you that in complement with my application, I leave the Republican Faction of the National Assembly and as an MP I will henceforth focus on primarily Gyumri issues and the issues of Armenia’s economic development. I am ready to actively support the initiatives of both the incumbent authorities, and my friends from opposition, which lead to development, I am going to be more active in indicating the challenges existing and coming forth on the way of the sustaining our economy.”
