In complement with Judge Artush Gabrielyan’s decision, one of the members of “Sasna Tsrer” group, Tigran Sargsyan was released from detention (see the photograph below). It was decided to apply the agreement not to leave the country by signature as a preventative mean.
Until the decision of the Judge, Tigran Sargsyan’s advocate, Grisha Balasanyan had announced that Sargsyan’s family did not have money to be released on bail.
Let us remind you that Sargsyan is the second member of the armed group who is released from detention. Yesterday similar decision was made by Judge Mesrop Makyan for Areg Kyureghyan.
Manvel Atoyan, Khachatur Gichyan, Garo Yegnukian, accused of supporting the armed group are also released from detention.
Member of “Sasna Tsrer” group, Tigran Sargsyan, which is accused of police patrol occupation of the Republic of Armenia in 2016, is detained in particular for taking and keeping a hostage, acquiring, keeping, transferring and seizing arms and weapons illegally.
