“I link my release not only with the change of the political situation but also with the change in the society. During this time many things have changed in people’s thinking”, in an interview with journalists said Aram Manukyan, a defendant in “Sasna Tsrer” case, the son freedom fighter, the same case defendant Pavlik Manukyan, after being released from custody.
“The fight is not over: let us wait till everyone is released. We should dedicate ourselves together with all Armenians to the development of our country”, he added.
Aram Manukyan said he will first of all take care of his health issues (he was wounded by the police during the seizure of the regiment). He also said that he intends to continue his interrupted education at the University of Architecture.
Aram Manukyan is accused of obtaining illegal arms, seizure of buildings, weapons, and ammunition. Group members Armen Bilyan and Smbat Barseghyan are also accused of murdering police officers.
