On June 6 and 7 of the current year Azerbaijani side has applied to the commandership of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia with the request to allow some citizens to approach the graveyards of the southern suburbs of the ruined Gunnut village.

It is the first time Azerbaijani side applies with such request for that area. The Armenian side, being loyal to humanitarian norms and always implementing steps towards loosening the tension, has agreed to allow the peaceful residents to approach the graveyards for a short time.
