On June 8, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia received the delegation of the Armenian Assembly of America headed by Anthony Barsamian and Van Grigoryan, Co-Chairmen of Board of Trustees.
Welcoming the guests, Foreign Minister Mnatsakanyan highlighted the importance of activities of the Armenian Assembly of America, emphasizing the organization’s active role in the US Armenian community life as well as in constantly raising the issues of pan-Armenian agenda in US administration circles.
Expressing gratitude for the reception, members of the AAA delegation briefed the Foreign Minister on the activities, current programmes and initiatives of the Armenian Assembly of America.
At the meeting the sides discussed the efforts aimed at deepening the Armenian-American friendly partnership and the prospects for the implementation of pan-Armenian programmes.
Minister Mnatsakanyan presented to the interlocutors the recent political developments in Armenia, the foreign policy priorities and key directions enshrined in the program of the Government.
