Yesterday, during the hour of announcements of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Armenian Revolutionary Federation recalled 7 famous provisions it had written still in 2013 and published. ARF MP Armenuhi Kyureghyan said that those 7 provisions encompassed issues and by solving them they could provide a jump-up development for the country. Creating an election system ensuring the formation and change of authorities due to the people’s free expression of will, excluding the application of state administrative resource, shifting to 100% proportional election system, differentiating the business from politics, providing the full independence of judiciary were among the listed issues.
Let us remind you that ARF had formed a coalition with the Republican Party of Armenia and had all opportunities to implement the 7 provisions. Kyureghyan noticed that the necessity of the solution of these and other issues are clearly reflected in the program of the incumbent Government. However, the ARF MP is concerned that the political forces, anyway, will organize vote-buying again: “It is natural that political forces will try to apply new methods of the campaign as well as to apply the old methods with new wrapping and start as soon as possible. Respected fellow Armenians, we should reject all types of vote-buying, also ones under the veil of charity – via distribution of envelopes as a financial aid to the people in the lists.”
