Yesterday the PM of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, told about his visit to the Russian Federation during the live stream on his “Facebook” page. He recorded – it was the first meeting with Dmitry Medvedev during which various questions on Armenia-Russia bilateral agenda were discussed. Afterwards, he informed that he was interviewed by “Russia Today” news channel.
Mr. Pashinyan said: “Very good moods prevail in Armenia-Russia relations today and a level of mutual trust is in place which we will not only keep but develop for sure.”
As informed by Armenian PM, after the football match the President of the Russian Federation had organized a small reception at the format of CIS country leaders where Ilham Aliyev was also present: “The President of the Russian Federation introduced us to each other. He simply introduced us, no conversation.”
Nikol Pashinyan contends with the results of the visit overall, he also mentioned he was going to visit Brussels in the near future as well. And after that, he assured that no turnarounds would take place in external politics as said by himself and as the Government program prescribes.
Referring to the blames on him during the Government session of the Republic of Armenia on Wednesday, Mr. Pashinyan explained: “The representatives of the Republican Party of Armenia have said that I formerly criticized the PMs who were not present in the Q&A and I do the same now. It was clearly stipulated by the previous Constitution that the PM and the members of Government reply to the questions of the MPs on Wednesday session. In the new Constitution, which is proposed by the RPA, the part of the PM is intentionally omitted which de jure enables the PM to be absent from the Q&A of the Parliament sometimes. I ask my colleagues from the RPA not to worry: whatever I have said previously is in force today.”
And then the PM of the Republic of Armenia interrupted the live stream saying: “Anna is standing at the door, she is hurrying me saying that we must move. We come to Yerevan.”
