After the special session of the Government, the leader of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Vanetsyan, replying to the question if he had noticed that the reputation of the structure has shifted to the positive side slightly, said that thousands of citizens had applied to the NSS for being recruited in these days.
Artur Vanetsyan was surprised that when the supporters of Manvel Grigoryan were protesting in front of the NSS building, Gaspari was also there with a poster in support of the NSS.
Replying to the question on the deputy head of NSS, implying that his name is associated with corruption, Mr. Vanetsyan said that the deputy head Arzuman Harutyunyan is a high professional: “I ask everyone not to doubt on his honesty. Let us highlight once again, that we speak grounded by facts and not presumptions. If anyone presents any fact proving that Arzuman Harutyunyan has failed to fulfill his duties or is present in any corruption schemes, I assure you, we will start a proceeding. But Arzuman Harutyunyan is an honest General, loving his fatherland, who works to the glory of the Republic of Armenia.”
