Artsakh hero, the President of the Union of “Yerkrapah” Volunteers, General Manvel Grigoryan has appealed, stating he has no relation with the goods discovered in his storages and the fact of the existence of those goods in his territories is surprising, informed Kamo Kamalyan, one of Manvel Grigoryan’s advocates.
“He has said that he rarely visits those places, two or three times annually,” informed the advocate. As stated by him, Manvel Grigoryan is ready to support the investigation and regardless of his heavy health condition, he is ready to be deprived of freedom for no doubts to appear as if he tries to hinder the preliminary investigation.
Kamalyan mentioned that Grigoryan is a suspect and hours later the custody deadline will expire and Grigoryan does not accept his guilt. Kamalyan highlighted that Manvel Grigoryan has a row of illnesses: “Let us remember that we have a precedent of “Hats Berogh” (“Breadwinner”)… Manvel Grigoryan should receive a respective medical aid, he also undergoes a chemical therapy. Yesterday I saw with my own eyes how he was injected an insulin.”
As reported by Karo Kamalyan, large-scale operative-investigation events are carried out currently and the weaponry discovered in the storages should be subjected to expertise: “We, the advocates, do not doubt that the objective truth will be revealed. We are going to do everything for it. The people have a false opinion about Manvel Grigoryan as if he could steal the condensed milk. The investigation will reveal it.”
Arayik Albanyan, another advocate of Manvel Grigoryan added that even if Manvel Grigoryan had said he had no clue about those goods, he was ready to support the investigation: “If information on those goods is in place, for example, if the relatives have such information, then he is ready to present documents or videotapes to the body of the preliminary investigation. I, as a citizen, am interested in the stealing of the donations of the schoolchildren, but let us not forget about the service Manvel Grigoryan showed to the fatherland.”
