On June 18, the officers of the General Department of Combating Organized Crime of the Police of the Republic of Armenia received operative information that cars of “Uaz” and “GAZ” marks loaded with canned meat were parked at the parking lot of Soghomon Taronts 22, Yerevan.
The drivers of the mentioned cars, who are members of the Union of “Yerkrapah” Volunteers are taken into police custody of the General Department of Combating Organized Crime.
The searches of the cars have revealed 2980 canned meats labeled “Not for Sale, for the Soldier”.
As stated by the drivers, they have loaded the canned meat upon the order of Nazik Amiryan from the building of the department of the Union of “Yerkrapah” Volunteers located at Arshakunyats 22, on June 16. The investigation is in process.
