“Aravot” asked Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia Giorgi Saganelidze whether what was the attitude of the Georgian government towards the changes in Armenia, and whether what new opportunities official Tbilisi sees in Armenia’s new authorities to raise Armenia-Georgia relations to a new level.
“The Georgian society has shown great interest in the developments in Armenia in April-May of this year. The process was perceived as the aspiration of the Armenian people to strengthen democratic values. The peaceful settlement of the situation gave rise to the Georgian society’s admiration. Georgian society hopes that intensive exchange of experience will allow to bring our relations to a higher level and to use more trade-economic or any other potential”, noted the Ambassador.
