In 1920, the Prime Minister of Bolshevik Russia, Ulyanov-Lenin published a book entitled “Left-Wing” Communism: an Infantile Disorder”. Bolshevik revolution had defeated 3 years prior to that and one of its leaders had taken up the leadership of the state and naturally had a different approach towards the revolutionary fight of the European communists. As they say, the situation had changed and Lenin was calling on his western adherents to be flexible and patient and go for strategic compromises.
Revolutionary extremisms, which are inevitable in the phase of the fight for power, gradually fade by the end of coming to power. The revolutionary team having come to power gets rid of the “infantile disorder of left-wing”, rejectionism, extremisms and the life gets into its main order day by day. It took more than 3 years from Russia, inasmuch as the revolution was counterattacked severely, besides, from the ideological perspective it was too far from love and reconciliation. In Armenia, the measles may take a shorter period of time if our new officials understand that mild, friendly criticism is not a manifestation of hostility, sabotage, revanchism and anti-revolutionary intention. It is a sign of support.
And thus, if the government is popular (as it is), it does not mean that the opposition should importantly be anti-popular. The opposition can be equally popular. For now, only the Republican Party of Armenia is singled out as an opposition. That party should get rid of criminal, it has chances of becoming a normal opposition. Throughout this year other opposition parties will also come forth before the elections. One should not label them “anti-popular” or “anti-state” at once.
If the decision to place the statue of Aram Manukyan was made during the “previous regime”, it does not mean that that statue should not be placed now. If in the previous 25 years private schools were opened, it does not mean all of them to hinder the development of education. If chess education is connected with the name of S. Sargsyan, it does not mean that chess is harmful to the mental development of the children. If the program of providing young specialists with apartments with privileged conditions was being executed at the initiative of the previous authorities, it does not mean that the young people should not be provided with apartments any longer, and etc. The “red” transition period should take as little time as possible.
