“Votki Hayastan!” (“Stand up, Armenia!”) civic initiative started in 2015 becomes a party named “Armenian Constructive Party” which is going to participate in the upcoming extraordinary parliamentary elections.
Andrias Ghukasyan, the coordinator of “Votki Hayastan!” mentioned that the Board of the Party would nominate his candidacy as the leader of ACP.
As regards the cooperation between the ACP and incumbent PM’s “Civic Agreement” Party, Andrias Ghukasyan said: “We find that the democratic forces should act jointly in the upcoming elections by completing each other. “Civic Agreement” bears heavy responsibility on its shoulders. We are going to support the PM and the CA.”
Andrias Ghukasyan added that no discussions with “Civic Agreement” on the mentioned had evolved yet. He also said that it was still early to estimate the ACP’s chances of passing to the Parliament in the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
