On July 4, the National Security Service began to carry out investigative operations in the apartment belonging to Serzh Sargsyan’s brother, Alexander Sargsyan, located at Tumanyan 11 street. Some of the residents of the building claimed that several cars owned by Sargsyan family were taken away from garages, while some other ones with 70-007 numbers still are parked nearby. National Security Service officers refrain from making comments.
A few days ago, Alexander Sargsyan was arrested on suspicion of carrying illegal weapons.
As of 14:00, the National Security Service officers were still in Alexander Sargsyan’s apartment.
