Canadian-Armenian actress Arsinee Khanjian is in Armenia to take part in the anniversary of the “Creative Armenia” cultural Foundation. During the event at the National Gallery of Armenia, she told the journalists that she supports the Foundation, whose goal is to discover, develop and support creative and talented artists.
Arsinee Khanjian said that they will try to find ways to collaborate with other countries in the cultural context, to support Armenian artists to be involved in different international programs.
Founder of “Creative Armenia”, Karin Hovannisian emphasized that the goal of the Foundation established a year ago, is the cultural revival. “With Serj Tankian, Arsinee Khanjian, Erik Israyelyan and a group of artists, we set this goal”.
He noted what the cultural revival is according to them: “We want Armenian films to receive prizes at international festivals, but also have success in the commercial market, in the international arena, we want our music to be performed on the high-rank stages of the world, as well as in pubs, we want the world to recognize Armenia as a small but powerful creative country”.
