The recent fuss taking place against the leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church gets worrisome manifestations. Targeted monitoring indicates that there are tendencies of acting beyond the rights and even using violence. This phenomenon is dangerous to society in terms of tolerance and solidarity.
The current situation requires a peaceful and mutually acceptable solution. The Human Rights Defender is ready to do his best within the scope of his competence to contribute to the settlement of the problem, including carrying out discussions with both sides.
