Former Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan will also be interrogated within the Yerevan fund case. Head of the National Security Service Arthur Vanetsyan told this to reporters. He noted that the inspections are already in the final stage, just those have a large volume. He also noted that Taron Margaryan has not been invited to the National Security Service Investigation Department yet, but will be invited soon.
In response to the question whether they are carrying out inspections in the personal businesses of the former Mayor, Vanetsyan said that they have not found any businesses registered by Taron Margaryan’s name. “Prime Minister’s Advisor on corruption submitted materials over the property issue discussed in the media to us. Inspections are underway and special measures will be taken”, he added.
