At the beginning of the government session on July 19, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the incident in the village of Panik in the Shirak region where the Russian military base opened exercising fire on the village, causing great panic among the residents. Pashinyan said that this is an unacceptable act.
“I consider it a provocation against Armenian-Russian friendly relations, a provocation against the sovereignty of Armenia. The guilty should be found and brought to justice. There is still a problem through which procedures to investigate this incident because there are bilateral agreements. In any case, I know that the police are preparing the materials and hopefully the further process will be effective. But, let me repeat, there is a problem to clarify what procedures should be taken to investigate the incident”, said the Prime Minister.
