On July 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh Masis Mayilian received a congratulatory message from Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Foreign Ministry.
The congratulatory message notes particularly the following:
“Almost three decades ago, Armenians all over the world rose up to support the people of Artsakh on the path of exercising their right to self-determination. It is noteworthy that despite the harsh consequences of war and the challenges, conditioned by the economic blockade, the people of Artsakh proved their determination and ability to build a viable and democratic state, thereby realizing the dream of the ideologists of the struggle to create a strong and sovereign Artsakh.
During these years, the Armenians of Artsakh have built a stable statehood with all the inherent attributes: with the active engagement of society, women and the youth established effective state structures. Among them is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, which celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Despite all restrictions, pressures and challenges, the Artsakh Foreign Ministry, thanks to the daily dedicated work of the staff, consistently carries out its important mission towards the international recognition of Artsakh, conveying the voice of the Artsakh Armenians to the international community and strengthening the country’s security. The close cooperation established between our ministries has repeatedly proved its effectiveness in the matter of adequately representing the interests of the Armenians of Artsakh in the international arena.
Once again, I congratulate you on your anniversary and wish you ambitious programs and progressive projects aimed at the future for the benefit of people of Artsakh.”
