The Spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Maria Zakharova, has expressed her regret over the fact that the countries neighboring Georgia have participated in NATO military exercises with different excuses.
“We cannot skip agreeing with the announcements, the ones of the Defense Ministry of Georgia among them, implying that those military exercises are intended for strengthening the stability and security in Black Sea area. Stability and security is a constructive dialogue, and not the helicopters and tanks,” she said in Friday’s briefing.
As stated by Zakharova, it is natural that their real objective was to display the power pressure on Abkhazia first of all, South Ossetia and Russia.
Armenia participates in NATO’s “Noble Partner 2018” military exercises started in Georgia since August 1, in which over 3000 military servants from 13 countries participate.
