The construction initiated by the former Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, at the historic center of Gyumri, at Jivan 79, is almost over. It is likely to be ready by the end of August, in early September.
As it is known, Karen Karapetyan intended to turn the territory of “Kumayri” reserve-museum of Gyumri into a tourism zone with guest houses and workshops. His family became the first investor of this project, investing 500,000 dollars by purchasing the two-stored building of one of the old restaurants in Gyumri. It is located near Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan’s house and his beer factory.
City authorities find it difficult to say whether how the former Prime Minister’s restaurant complex will be different from other similar facilities in Gyumri. However, one thing is clear: it will stand out in its splendor, and most likely with its high service prices.
Slightly deviating from the old facade of the building project (initially a condition was set that the earthquake damaged 1926 facade would be restored), builders try to complete the construction as soon as possible.
