MP Manvel Grigoryan, who is under arrest, is not alone in his cell of the National Security Service Yerevan-Kentron penitentiary: there are several other prisoners with him. Arsen Mkrtchyan, Grigoryan’s defender, said about this in an interview. “Manvel Grigoryan lives with several other prisoners. In the case of Armenia, the conditions in the cell are more or less good: they have a TV, a refrigerator, hygienic supplies, etc.”, he said.
In response to the question whether what Grigoryan keeps himself busy within the cell all day long, Arsen Mkrtchyan said: “He does what other prisoners usually do: from time to time meets with defenders, asks about his case, sometimes some interrogation is carried out. That is all”.
The lawyer complained that there were 2 interrogations within the scope of the criminal case, and there is no clear deadline for the upcoming one.
