If you ask an average statistical person, “who are you?”, they will either give their name or say where they work. Many people imagine their success, personal skills and personal attraction not due to self-recognition, but due to comparing themselves with others.
However, not the competition, but the skill of creating is on the ground of the development of the humanity. There is no one like you in the world, and cannot be. And is it not a stupidity to follow someone’s standards thereby eliminating the unique creation of God in your inner self? Do not think about the “prestige” of your work or social status, be unshaken in your individuality.
There is no certain border in contemporary human’s consciousness dividing the skills of creating and competing. Meanwhile, they are far from each other, as black and white or as two poles. Competition presupposes standards, the skill of creating – exceptionality. Competition makes the person a part of the mass, the skill of creating makes him/her an individuality.
Guided by competition, you want to have a house, car or work that will be better than someone else’s. Thereby your real wishes get in the trap. You want not yours, but someone else’s, only a better one, don’t you? You are subjected to the value system formed by someone else.
The skill of creating gives the person an opportunity to create his/her own world. If you take the brush, paints and paint on a canvas, then it is not important how you have succeeded in what – it will be your own creation. And even the most skilled painter will not be able to create the precise duplicate. Is it not the sufficient proof of your exceptionality? The self-identification which is guided by common standards and the competition are the symptoms of the soul’s death. The skill of creating and individuality takes to the limitless knowledge.
