The former Deputy Head of State Department of National Security, public speaker Gurgen Yeghiazaryan does not think that the former Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan can have a connection with March 1 case.
“Hovik Abrahamyan could not shoot on people, I say it for sure, knowing him for 30 years,” said Gurgen Yeghiazaryan in the interview to Aravot.am, referring to the disclosure of arms and weapons from the territory belonging to Hovik Abrahamyan.
“Hovik Abrahamyan would not use those weapons against the people, no such thing could happen in his knowledge. And I do not know his brother in person, but I do not think any of the family members of Hovik Abrahamyan would wish to kill someone. Search for murderers anywhere else, analyze the video tape and disclosed their identity,” called on Gurgen Yeghiazaryan.
Explaining National Security Service’s suspicion that those weapons were perhaps used during March 1 cases by not law enforcement bodies, Gurgen Yeghiazaryan said: “Besides the fact that Hovik Abrahamyan is not the person to kill for someone, in order to bring Serzh Sargsyan to power, let me ask a question, what do you think, did the God deprive Hovik Abrahamyan of his brains for him to take the weapons by which the murders were made and keep them and for the NSS to find them… Could he not demolish those weapons? In short, I consider the opinions stating as if people could have been murdered through those weapons on March 1.”
