On August 12, on the section of the border between Artsakh and Azerbaijan to the east of the settlement of Akna, a body of a resident of Azerbaijan was discovered in the neutral zone between the positions of the armed forces of the sides.
On August 15, according to an agreement reached between the Republic of Artsakh and Azerbaijan with the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, a humanitarian operation was conducted to evacuate the body from the neutral zone to Azerbaijan.
