Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also made announcements regarding the criminal case surrounding the events of March 1st during the gathering on Republic Square to celebrate his 100th day in office.
Nikol Pashinyan said, “Some people have begun to describe themselves as political prisoners, and as victims of political discrimination. No one bothers to ask them why they’re free if they’re being politically discriminated against. Or do you think that we don’t know how to call judges and threaten them? We rejected that practice, but that doesn’t mean that we will allow anyone to avoid responsibility. I doubt that anyone will avoid taking responsibility for the murder of ten citizens and for carrying out a national coup-d’etat. That cannot happen. You tell me (the citizens) that you won’t let any murderer with spilled blood on their hands, or any criminal to avoid responsibility. All murderers will be arrested, and I am authorized to say this in the name of all Armenian citizens. We can say that the events of March 1st have been completely uncovered. It is impossible for criminals and their ringleaders to avoid responsibility.”
