Between August 12th and 18th, the opponent violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan 170 times, during which time they used different caliber weapons to shoot at Armenian military positions and fired over 1500 gunshots.
Besides these violations, at 12 AM on August 17th, a 15-person group attempted an attack on the Artsakh Defense Army’s northern military positions. Units of the Defense Army stopped the attack on time and pushed the attackers back to their positions. The defense army suffered no casualties during the extensive shooting.
Units of the Artsakh Defense Army continue to enforce their will alone the frontline and confidently carry out their combat duties.
