Journalists asked Nikol Pashinyan how he reacted to Kocharyan’s critiques that there is no economic policy and that domestic policy is not conducted well. Pashinyan answered, “You know, there are people who, when saying ‘domestic policy,’ think about what has made Armenia fail. We are not prepared to go down the same road.”
When asked whether or not he is worried about Kocharyan’s return, Pashinyan sneered. “You’re talking about the type of scenario that will simply never happen. Why are you asking me? Go out on the streets and ask people how they feel about it. I’m not the one who gets to decide on those things. The one who does get to decide is the people, and you need to ask that question to the people, although I don’t think that what you’ll hear is something that you should put on television.”
