“I think the opposite. The Republican Party has correctly evaluated the situation over the past several months and the reactions to Pashinyan’s contradictory and anti-democratic speech are clear proof of that,” said the Republican Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov in an interview regarding the statement made by Nikol Pashinyan.
As a reminder, to answer the question of whether he considers it to be possible for the Republicans to vote in favor of Robert Kocharyan to become the prime minister, Nikol Pashinyan told reporters, “To be honest, I don’t see the possibility of that happening. It is simply necessary to evaluate the situation realistically without creating any more difficulties. Do you remember when I met with Serzh Sargsyan? I told him that he is not evaluating the situation correctly. I think that the Republican Party under his leadership is continuing to be unrealistic in their approach to the situation.”
“The one who does not have a grip on reality is Pashinyan, who thinks that everyone is in favor of his tyrannical endeavors,” Sharmazanov said.
