August 24,2018 16:05

A new training and funding opportunity is now available for Armenian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including start-ups active in food processing and tourism from the Armavir, Lori, and Syunik regions.

The EU-funded EU4Business project for ‘Boosting competitiveness of regional SMEs’ in Armenia is launching the second and third rounds of its ‘Successful Start’ programme, which include training, information, professional consulting and financial support components.

By participating in the programme, start-ups and SMEs will improve their entrepreneurial skills and obtain knowledge of marketing, management, production, financial planning and relevant business skills.

The most viable business ideas that receive the highest scores will have the opportunity to apply for financial support through grants for the creation of new jobs. The application deadlines are in September. More information on the deadline dates for each region, eligibility criteria and how to apply can be found here.
