‘There are things missing’: Valery Osipyan about Yerevan police chief’s dismissal

August 25,2018 16:37

“He was not a bad colleague. He was one of the most professional workers in our system, but there have been and will always be systematic changes,” Armenian Police Chief Valery Osipyan stated in an interview regarding the dismissal of Yerevan Police Chief Artak Poghosyan. He was asked whether the police chief made mistakes since he had only been appointed in June.

Valery Osipyan responded, “I wouldn’t say so. There are possibly things missing… we don’t doubt that he’ll get another job.”
