Chess competitions for 8-18-year-old boys and girls ended in Riga. The results of the competitions were published. Eighteen representatives from Armenia participated.
For the under 14 girls’ group, Armenian chess player Astghik Hakobyan got 7 points and won a silver medal in her age group.
Several of our chess players were also close to winning medals, but they were only a few points away from doing so.
