The government requested that the National Assembly convene in a special session. The government favored a bill to be put in place that would punish people who gave out election bribes or committed other crimes more harshly. The leader of the project, Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan said that this bill will be discussed during the session, and if it is passed, then it will also be applied to the Yerevan City Council elections. The project invites the National Assembly to convene again on September 6th at 11:00.
