How members of the ANC got on the ‘My Step’ alliance’s election ballot: Zhoghovurd

September 01,2018 15:47

Members of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) have been included on the “My Step” alliance’s election ballot for the Yerevan City Council elections. And in this case, the ANC will not be participating in an alliance with the “Civil Contract” party. Instead, the “Arakelutyun” political party, which is made up of only a few people, made an alliance with “Civil Contract.” ANC Executive Department Secretary Samvel Abrahamyan told the “Joghovurd” newspaper in an interview about how the ANC is participating on the “My Step” ballot instead of creating an alliance with “Civil Contract.”

– Mr. Abrahamyan, how did members of the ANC get on the “My Step” alliance’s election ballot?

– That question is open to us since our members aren’t constrained with such things.

– How many members of the ANC are on the “My Step” ballot?

– I don’t know. I know for sure about one person, but the rest I’m unaware of.
