According to tradition, on the last Friday of every month, Gagik Ginosyan, the “Karin” traditional dance and song group leader, professional dancer, and Artsakh war participant teaches national dances at Cascade until late evening. The dances that took place on August 31st were long, and even foreign tourists participated in the dances. Many tourists were taking pictures and videos of the event, which for them was both strange and interesting. Representatives of several backgrounds, dancers, and dance lovers participated in the Armenian dances.
Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan was also at Cascade, who told reporters recently that there may possibly be some changes in several fields, including pre-military preparation, national song, and national dance. Armenian national dance was introduced in schools in Armenia during the 2014-2015 school year, and Gagik Ginosyan organized that project.
