‘Vladimir Gasparyan used 200,000 dollars to own a 3 million dollar home’: Publication may cause criminal case

An article published on hetq.am titled “Vladimir Gasparyan used 200,000 dollars to become the owner of a 3 million dollar mansion” became the basis of a criminal case opened by the Armenian Special Investigative Service according article 178, part 3, point 1 and article 309, part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The points are about participation in large amounts of fraud and crimes committed by officials during their time in office. Pre-investigation measures are being taken.

Notice: The accused is assumed to be guilty since they have not been proven guilty according to the Armenian criminal code and the system established by the criminal code- through a legal sentence made by the court.
