Human rights defender Arman Tatoyan spoke on the phone with the children’s rights defender of the Netherlands, Margrite Kalverboer, about the two Armenian children in the Netherlands who are threatened with deportation to Armenia.
The ombudsman of the Netherlands said that the Armenian children’s issue is at the center of her attention and she is making every effort to push back the deportation order so that she can closely study the children’s paperwork and the issue of the protection of their rights.
The human rights defender of Armenia thanked his colleague and stated that, if the children are deported, he will take steps to guarantee the children’s rights within his power.
