“The Rule of Law excludes any possibility of political collaboration with Robert Kocharyan and his supporters. We will continue to support the revolution and the fact that there need to be parliamentary elections. This parliament needs to dissolve,” said the head of the Rule of Law political party, Artur Baghdasaryan, at the event for the presentation of projects for the upcoming Yerevan City Council elections.
Then he presented their candidate for mayor, former member of parliament Mher Shahgeldyan, emphasizing that he has a clean political history and leadership experience.
“Mher Shahgeldyan differs from the other candidates with his experience, knowledge, and honest character. We have nothing to do with blood, robbery, or theft. Therefore, this team that we have presented has nothing to do with that phenomena either,” Artur Baghdasaryan said.
According to him, the Rule of Law is one of the pivotal organizations that has a 20-year history that has gone through a difficult but strong path. “We have been the organizers of positive, wonderful changes in our country. The Rule of Law has always spoken about issues, whether we were a part of the coalition or opposition. Many positive changes have taken place in Armenia thanks to the Rule of Law, which is the author of 250 laws.”
