“An unprecedented situation has risen for us. It’s a very unthinkable circumstance that the head of the NSS can be secretly recorded,” said Speaker of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan to reporters in parliament, regarding the controversial recording of the conversation between the heads of the NSS and SIS.
According to the speaker, this issue must be resolved constitutionally and as limited by law.
One of the reporters asked him how he would comment on the fact that the judge called the head of the NSS. Ara Babloyan responded, “Allow me to stay silent. Because, if the issue needs to be resolved, then allow for it to happen not through one person, but as according to the law.”
