Soon, Armenia will receive credit from Russia of around 100 million dollars to buy weapons from Russia’s arsenal. The process of signing an agreement has begun. Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan spoke to reporters about this. Reporters asked about what kinds of weapons can be purchased through this agreement. “Naturally, I can’t answer that question, but we will announce details at the right time. I can only say that purchasing multifunctional aviation is important. That must be introduced into the Armenian Armed Forces,” Davit Tonoyan said.
He also mentioned that there are ongoing negotiations with Russia regarding the purchase of aviation. That is of utmost importance for the Armenian side.
